Parks Ford Launches Thanksgiving Food Drive to Support Local Families
The Thanksgiving season brings a meaningful reminder of generosity, gratitude, and community support. At Parks Ford, we are honored to help families in need by hosting our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This initiative reflects our commitment to serving Gainesville and supporting neighbors facing food insecurity.
From now through November 25, we welcome the community to take part in this effort by donating non-perishable food items. Every contribution helps ensure more families can enjoy a warm and comforting holiday meal.
Helping Gainesville Families This Holiday Season
Thanksgiving is a time for unity and compassion. Our team at Parks Ford is proud to open our showroom for this important cause. The blue Ford F-150 parked inside the dealership serves as the official collection point, symbolizing strength, reliability, and community support.
Local families rely on food pantries more during the holiday season. By participating, donors directly help provide meals for households who may otherwise go without. Community involvement is essential, and we are grateful for the continued support from Gainesville residents.
What to Donate: Essential Shelf-Stable Foods
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive focuses on items that store well and offer meaningful nourishment. Popular donations include canned vegetables, canned meats, boxed stuffing, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, and other shelf-stable essentials. These items help food pantries serve more families efficiently.
Each donation makes a measurable impact. Shelf-stable goods remain the most requested category because they help pantries support more people for longer periods. Your contribution gives comfort, security, and hope during the holiday.
Delivery Day: November 25
On the evening of November 25, our team will deliver all collected donations to a local food pantry. This ensures items are sorted, prepared, and distributed before the holiday. Our goal is to help as many families as possible enjoy a complete Thanksgiving meal.
We take pride in supporting organizations that uplift the community. This partnership allows us to extend our reach and provide meaningful help to those who need it most.
Join Parks Ford in Making a Difference
We invite everyone in the Gainesville area to stop by the showroom, place donations in the blue F-150, and take part in this important holiday tradition. Your generosity strengthens our community and helps ensure no family is forgotten during Thanksgiving.
